Federica is a member of the technical staff since 2001 under the Neurobiology Sector and then Neuroscience Area. She operates in the context of the Cell Culture Facility and is responsible for the management of the common stockroom of consumables (Neurostore). She is involved in support to the Scientific Buyer.

You can contact her for:

• all the procedures and rules for working correctly in cell culture rooms;
• control of common instruments and equipment related to cell culture;
• cell lines long term storage and cryopreservation;
• rules to access the common stockroom and information about material stored;
• basic techniques in cell and tissue culture (see courses).

Federica got a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Trieste. In SISSA she worked using a lot of different techniques: Immunohistochemistry, scFv Phage Display, protein purification and analysis. She was trained in the use of Biacore instrument.
