Marco is responsable for the management Human Cognitive Neuroscience laboratories and provides support for the experimental activities in the Human labs.

He can be contacted for:

  • advise in the design and setting-up of experiments with human participants;
  • support in programming with experiment software and toolboxes (i.e., Psychotoolbox);
  • training and assistance with the instruments and the devices available in the Human labs (i.e., TMS, EEG, eye-tracker, MP150 system for biopotential recording).

Marco can also provide support with programming and data analysis. In particular, he is proficient with software and toolboxes for:

  • computer programming (i.e., Matlab, Python)
  • EEG and TMS/EEG data analysis (EEGLAB, FieldTrip)
  • human biopotential recordings (Biopac amplifier modules and the software AcqKnowledge) 
  • statistical analysis (i.e., SPSS, Statistica)
  • image editing and scientific illustration (i.e., GIMP, Photoshop, Inkscape, Illustrator)

Marco got a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and a master's degree in Neuroscience at the University of Trieste. He doctorated in Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences at the University of Udine. He previously worked as a post-doctoral reserach fellow at the SISSA, the Department of Psychology of the University of Bologna (Cesena Campus) and the Body Lab of the University of Udine.
