Beatrice is an expert in the preparation of primary cultures from nervous tissue and in the maintenance of cell cultures.
She is the person of reference for the animal house and acts as intermediary between SISSA staff and the animal house.
In recent years she has been interested in Laboratory Animal Science and she currently offers support to the SISSA OPBA (Organismo Preposto al Benessere Animale).

Beatrice got a degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Trieste. She also obtained a degree in Pharmacy at the University of Trieste. She completed the course on “Laboratory Animal Science” accredited by FELASA.
