Erik helps in the experimental activities involving the design of hardware and software.

He can be contacted for:

  • advise in the design and setting-up of experiments involving new custom hardware/software;
  • computer programming (C++, Arduino);
  • teaching electronics (see courses), electrophysiology, data analysis, technological brainstorming.

Erik can also provide support in various topics:

  • physics (e.g., optics);
  • mathematics (e.g. signal processing);
  • soft materials dynamic additive manufacturing (gel 4D printing);
  • nanoprinting (Nanoscribe, Hirox digital microscopy);
  • image analysis (ImageJ).

Erik got a diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications in Gorizia and studied physics at the University of Trieste. He has previously worked as electrician at Burgo S.p.A. paper mill, as contractor at SISSA, as free lance for HW/SW research & development, as test & measurement engineer for telecommunications equipment at Alcatel S.p.A., as program manager for aerospace defense systems at UTRI S.p.A. (now part of Leonardo S.p.A.) and as production engineer for mobile phones at UBLOX S.p.A.
