Jessica is a member of the technical staff since 2000 under the Neurobiology Sector and then Neuroscience Area. Until 2018 she operated in the context of the Molecular Biology Facility as referent for DNA sequencing, genotyping and other common duties. Actually she is the Scientific Buyer for the Neuroscience Area.

Jessica got a “Diploma Universitario in Tecnico di Laboratorio Biomedico” at Faculty of medicine and surgery - University of Trieste. In SISSA, in the past, she worked using a lot of different molecular biology techniques: Sequencing, PCR, Cloning, Western blot, … but now she is a “trait d’union” from researchers and administrative offices, helping the scientific staff to complete the bureaucratic procedures.
