Sara got a Master Degree in Medicinal Chemistry at University of Camerino and a PhD in Genetics and Biomolecular Science, gained as joint international PhD Program by Università Statale di Milano and EMBL Heidelberg. Sara has also worked in Sissa since 2012 as Post-Doc fellow in Functional and Structural Genomics, studying DNA and RNA modifications involved in several neurodegenerative disorders
